I thought it was my fault at first, maybe something had gone wrong on my end.

In the fall, while traveling, despite saving to the cloud, and adding to it when I had WiFi access, a document disappeared! Initially, the first two of 3 pages were gone, and a day later, so was the third and any trace of it. The only workaround that I have figured out is to retype the missing pages (more than 20k words) on the laptop while looking at it on my iPad. A LOT of what should be unnecessary work to create a new document to which I will later copy and paste the beginning of the document that is still there, or at least was the last time I checked.
